Dr. Jillian Round is artist and teacher. She is a practicing multimedia artist, having shown in solo and group exhibitions throughout the United States. Her primary focus is in film and sound production. She has over ten years experience working and volunteering for organizations such as Art Love Magic, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas County Community College, and Water Tower Theater. She earned her M.F.A. in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008, and is graduating this December with a doctorate in Arts and Humanities with a concentration in Aesthetic Studies. Dr. Round’s dissertation focuses on minority presence in Camp and Appropriation artistic expression. She additionally is adjunct faculty in visual communications for Brookhaven College, Collin College and Southern Methodist University.
